RESPONBILITIES
The junior auditor’s responsibilities include working with the senior auditor to plan the audit. During the audit itseft, you will check expenditures, revenue and other financial records to ensure that all members are accurate, regulations are complied with, and all payments are accurately classified and recorded. You may then help to prepare the discussion draft of the audit report. You would attend meetings with the client and senior auditor and complete the audit report.
OPPORTUNITY
A junior auditor role is a step toward qualifying as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Once you have done that, you can either continue your career in auditor move into another accountancy specialty, such as taxation. There are many opportunities for qualified accountants, including becoming a finance director for a company , or even moving into general management and becoming a chief executive.
